My bike into any elevator a gurney will fit into. Thus making more it practical for urban lifestyles. I take this bike on bart.</p> <p>Cable steering is standard push pull, with various types, diameters, and grades of cable available, I am still choosing the most appropriate specimen. I also am now ready to offer the bike with hydraulic steering, at a significantly increased price.</p> <p>The bike is partable and splits in half in about twenty minutes. Some mechanical savey is currently required. I plan to dumb down disassembly and reassembly as much as possible with further design effort.</p> <p>The adjustable ellasemer, is just that, and could be removed entirely for maximum unsaddled power transfer.</p> <p>The bike is easy to ride standing up at low speed with caro or passengers in the front.</p> <p>It turns around in a narrow alley (one car).</p> <p>The wheel base in under six feet.</p> <p>The front wheel is a 16” and the rear is a 20”</p> <p>The cargo area is huge, 26” inches long, 22” (keg width) wide in the center.</p> <p>The cargo glides 8” off the ground, I will lower this on successive models. Although it is nice to be able to ride off a kurb at an angle.</p> <p>A dozen people at nahbs asked me if I could build it with larger wheels. I won’t. I don’t notice the small wheels slowing me down at all. They have lower rotational mass, Cities are thus paved. The ellastomer does an excellent job absorbing shock, like plastic speed bumps. Passengers are delighted. The bike is bmx inspired, urban utility, it is a washing machine with wheels.</p> <p>The complete bike without the box weighs about 45 pounds. Sorry I didn’t weigh the frame before the show.
